Responsibilities
The Critical Environments Shift Lead is responsible for the overall utilization of the critical environment’s operations team in the performance of all scheduled maintenance. They will coordinate each maintenance activity to assure each team has the resources to perform each assigned task. The CE Shift lead assures all maintenance documentation is performed in CMMS. The CE Shift Lead trains and mentors new CET’s. The SE Shift lead and their team is responsible for all in-house corrective maintenance and its completion within the assigned SLA.
Specific duties include:
+ Lead the daily maintenance meeting to discuss scheduled maintenance and hazards pertaining to the jobs and environments.
+ Assign schooled maintenance tasks to the CE operations team assuring proper qualifications, knowledge level and licenses are held for the maintenance task.
+ Work with the SME’s to and Planner Scheduler to review manpower availability to schedule maintenance.
+ Work with the SMEs to identify corrective maintenance work orders that are performed in-house.
+ Review CMMS and ensuring all in-house corrective and preventive maintenance is scheduled and performed prior to breaching SLA’s.
+ Identify the need for and assisting in staffing overtime for and creating Extra Work Purchase Requisitions.
+ Work with logistics and the SMEs to identify and order parts for all work orders.
+ Lead all maintenance evolutions requiring elevated CE oversite.
+ Assist the ACFM with the daily staffing of personnel.
+ Help review and update maintenance procedures.
+ Work with the Logistic Coordinator to ensure parts or consumables are on hand for upcoming maintenance evolutions.
+ Respond and coordinate with monitoring FOC leads to respond and mitigate incidents.
+ Work with the site’s Safety and Training Coordinators to schedule all training so as not to conflict with scheduled maintenance.
+ Ensure all teams are utilizing tools and test sets that are calibrated, and all electrical safety inspections are with manufacturer OSHA and NFPA70e guidelines.
+ Review and ensure all Risk Assessments are performed prior to all maintenance.
+ Ensure all maintenance documentation is recorded in CMMS to include start dates, general comments and statuses. That includes making sure the work order is QC’ed and closed within its assigned SLA. That also includes CE time utilization.
Qualifications
+ 10+ years' experience in data center or technical facilities with a high school Diploma or GED is required.
+ Excellent troubling skills.
+ Knowledge of MSFT process and the ability to locate.
+ Excellent communication skills and ability to provide clear instruction.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs is required.
+ Outstanding management and organizational skills.
+ Strong ability to prioritize and shift priorities.
+ Outstanding leadership skill with the ability to train and mentor.

**Abilities:**
+ The position requires the ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to [50 pounds] on a regular basis. Candidates must demonstrate physical strength and stamina to perform various tasks, including but not limited to, loading, and unloading, operating equipment, and assisting in the transportation of various materials. Proper lifting techniques and safety protocols must be followed to ensure personal and team safety.
+ Relocates a 12-foot stepladder without assistance.
+ Works at various heights up to 60 feet and can climb and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks and all types of ladders.
+ Walks, climbs, lifts, squats, crawls, kneels, pushes, pulls and reaches overhead on a routine and repetitive basis.
+ Possess good vision (may be corrected vision), the ability to see in color, and the ability to hear and communicate in English.
+ May use a standard ladder without exceeding the weight limit while carrying tools.
+ Tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem.
