Discover more about us at www.amerihealthcaritas.com. **Responsibilities:** The primary purpose of the Critical Incident Specialist (CIS) is to provide expertise and analysis to the CHC Service Coordination Department to mitigate the risk of noncompliance related to Critical Incidents. The CIS is responsible for coordinating and monitoring Critical Incident Reporting program objectives, including timely initiation, reporting, review, transcription, and completion of the critical incident process in CHC’s internal documentation system (TSS) and the Pennsylvania Enterprise Management System (EIM). This role works collaboratively across Service Coordination and Quality Management for all CHC Critical Incident processes, conducting ongoing element reviews specific to Critical Incident activities and state requirements. The CIS maintains current working knowledge of contractual guidelines, plan policy, and operational procedures to effectively provide subject matter expertise as part of developing recommendations related to Critical Incident specific job aids, tip sheets, system improvements, and additional targeted interventions to achieve and maintain compliant scores related to Critical Incident Operational Reporting. **Education/ Experience:** + Bachelor’s Degree preferred. + Minimum three years of Service Coordination and/or Quality Review Auditing experience required. **Other Skills:** + Proficient in MS Office; intermediate skills in Excel and Word required. + Demonstrated critical thinking skills with the ability to apply logical reasoning. **Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion** At AmeriHealth Caritas, everyone can feel valued, supported, and comfortable to be themselves.
