What will you do?
The Energy Market Coordinator provides essential support to the Australia Energy Market’s team to ensure we deliver exceptional outcomes to clients through improving the visibility and accuracy of our client engagement and bidding activities. They are integral to the smooth delivery of programs/initiatives by leveraging up to date technologies and agile ways of working to improve efficiencies and administrative performance. Core functions of the Energy Market Coordinator are to work with our market team including Industry Directors, Account Directors, Client Leaders, and Opportunity Managers to ensure our client engagements and opportunity reporting are accurate and up to date, enabling the business to draw insights to drive superior outcomes for our clients and Aurecon.
Attributes of ideal candidate
Mid-level administration skills with a professional, mature approach to work with confidential informationStrong communication skills for internal and external communications both written and verbalStrong coordination skills with an eye for detail, supported by strong time management prioritisationExperience with the use of CRM platforms. Experience with Dynamics CRM preferred.Adherence to process and systems use that meet company policy and requirementsStrong systems skills including Microsoft suite of productsPrevious understanding of engineering and management consulting services industry preferred.Problem solving skills that allow for both team and autonomous working environmentWilling to learn as you go whilst striving for high quality work output that delivers great outcomesKey Responsibilities:
Acting as the Dynamics “Portfolio Admin” role for all portfolios within the Australian Energy MarketRegularly interfacing with client leaders and client facing teams to support reporting within the CRM (Dynamics) of client facing activities and engagementsRegularly interfacing with Account Directors, Client Leaders, and Opportunity Managers to support opportunity tracking and opportunity reporting through the CRM (Dynamics)Monitoring pipeline accuracy and proactively engaging with Account Directors, Client Leaders, and Opportunity Managers to update opportunity data within DynamicsEnsuring appropriate client feedback is recorded within key opportunities at the completion of the opportunity cycle (i.e., at win / loss stage)Supporting Account Directors and Client Leaders in undertaking and recording regular client interviewsWorking with Account Directors and Client Leaders to undertake regular reviews of our client contact lists to ensure accuracy of the databaseRegularly publishing and reporting on key client feedback including identification of themes appearing across multiple clients or multiple opportunitiesSecondary Responsibilities (where capacity enables):
Analysis on bidding performance and outcomes with a view to identify areas for improvementSupport local winning work effort for back-office tasks, such as formatting and sourcing materials; preparation of presentations and pitches for clientsAdhoc reporting as requestedWe value that each of our team members brings something different to Aurecon.
