Job Description

Purpose of the role:

This role is an Associate level opportunity in the Global Client Group at Brookfield Asset Management supporting one or more client relationship managers (CRMs) covering multiple markets across Europe/Israel. The Associate will work across all private market asset classes that Brookfield specializes in (Real Estate, Infrastructure, Renewables, Private Equity) and stretch across all parts of the fundraising process (marketing activities, direct client communications, research, client / prospect due diligence).

Responsible for:

Support all aspects of fund marketing activities, client prospect due diligence and onboarding processesWork with CRMs to originate new client investment activityCoordinate and attend update meetings with investment teams (prepare pre-meeting reports and appropriate materials, coordinate any follow-up)Cover on-site due diligence meetings with investment teams (prepare pre-meeting reports and appropriate materials, coordinate any follow-up)Where appropriate, directly communicate with clients to support their due diligence requestsMaintain Brookfield's internal CRM system (Salesforce), ensuring that the system is up to date for internal reporting purposesAssist with ad-hoc Business Development activitiesCompile detailed pre-meeting reports for each client meeting involving Brookfield investment professionalsComplete ad-hoc profiles on prospects as neededPerform detailed research and analysis, leveraging market data and other sources, with the aim to create targeted prospective investor lists for new funds and strategiesMonitor industry press for information relating to our respective prospects and competitorsIn conjunction with Communications and Project Management Teams, help coordinate road shows, conferences, and investor meetingsAssist with conference/ meeting planning: setup, prepare and co-ordinate with different stakeholders (both within and beyond the organization)Facilitate broad investor communication initiatives


Experience:

Relevant experience (2-4 years’ experience) working in the financial services industry; property, infrastructure, private equity or alternative asset funds knowledgeStrong investment and financial analytical and reporting capabilitiesHighly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel), experience of Salesforce a plusTeam player with positive attitude and pro-active approach to workAble to develop a strong internal/external relationshipsProactively seeks opportunities to get involved in challenging projectsAbility to multi-task and work in a very fast-paced and team-oriented environmentExcellent interpersonal, analytical, and creative problem-solving abilityStrong written and verbal communication skills including preparation and delivery of presentationsSelf-motivated with a high level of attention to detail

Qualifications:

Fluency in EnglishAppropriate degree in accounting/finance/businessPost graduate studies in finance, MBA, or CFA/CPA qualified would be highly regarded
