Act as a liaison between the IT Development group and business units for the development, implementation, and maintenance of new systems and/or enhancements of existing systems.
Your future duties and responsibilities:• Evaluate new applications and identify systems requirements;
• Evaluate new IT developments and evolving business requirements, and recommend appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements to the current system;
• Create documentation and white papers that will be used in case studies and training sessions for the customer and junior members.
• Create knowledge articles based on knowledge acquired during the transition and operational support activities, ensuring that knowledge articles are up to date, and complete.
• Conducts a wide range of quality control tests and analyses to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements;
• Produce a detailed technical design document to match the solution design specifications
• Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to his team’s knowledge and experiences.
• Participate in project meetings with the customer as required.
• Communicate with clients professionally either through phone or e-mail.
• Participate in the knowledge acquisition and transfer activities during the transition and ensure all activities/deliverables required are fulfilled as required by the Transition Manager according to the timelines set
• Ensure awareness of all the technical aspects of the different applications and components including operational procedures and known issues during the transition
• Perform the below activities as part of Development work as required by the project (within project timelines):
o Troubleshooting/Debugging
o Customization
o Unit testing
o Deployment
• Perform the below activities as part of Testing work as required by the project:
o Create test plan/test scripts cases
o Create test data files with valid and invalid records to thoroughly test program logic and verify system flow;
o Execute Test Plans and scripts to ensure alignment with standards and IT strategy;
• Perform the below activities as part of Application Support work as required by the project:
o Monitor ticket queues for incidents or requests assigned to the team
o Resolve technical issues
o Able to meet or exceed agreed service level targets with the client in the Service Level Agreement
(SLA)/project timelines in terms of:
Incident Management
Problem Management
Service Requests
Change Management
o Liaise with various technical experts in CGI’s other operating units, Microsoft Technical Support, and other 3rd
party application technical support in order to resolve technical issues.
o Provide On-Call and weekend project support, if necessary, as well as work in shifting hours
• Progress reporting
o Update the project manager/project lead with the daily progress of tasks
o Escalate to the project manager/ project lead at the earliest, if there is a likelihood of not being able to meet
the agreed SLAs or if a significant delay is expected in the schedule or effort overrun.
• Able to adapt and work on existing project processes and third-party applications.
• Contribute to obtaining higher client satisfaction scores
• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on technical experience in customizing Microsoft Dynamics CRM 365 and .NET development using VB.NET, C#, JS, and SQL
• Work directly with the lead developer and customers to assist in developing and deploying Dynamics CRM 365 solutions in the Azure platform.
• Knowledge of Power Platform (Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate)
• Experience in customizing and creating CRM entities and processes.
• Ability to work in an agile development environment with shifting priorities.
• Good understanding of CRM capabilities, architecture, and ability to determine the best approach as to when to employ out-of-the-box configurations vs. custom development.
• Experience in developing procedures and queries with Microsoft SQL Server DB
• Good in troubleshooting, quickly identifying the root cause of defects and resolving them
• Excellent communication skills in English – both in spoken and written
• Demonstrates exceptional organizational skills (detail-oriented)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Willing to work in a fast-paced multicultural environment
• Must be amenable to working onsite 2-3 days a week in McKinley, Taguig, on both mid and night shifts.
