We are currently seeking a CRMA on Independence Way, our Residential Care Village. This is a part-time position, 24 hours per week, and includes every-other weekend.

Job Duties:

Administer medications and treatments to residents as ordered by the attending physician, and under the direction of the Residential Care Director, in accordance with established nursing standards, policies, procedures, and practices of the facility and State of Maine.Review care plans and provide care accordinglyIdentify and honor resident choices in activities of daily living, while maintaining resident safetyCommunicate with co-workers at all levels to adequately meet the needs of the residentsAssist in preparing and serving meals and snacks, adhering to the residents preferencesLaunder residents personal clothingHelp to clean and maintain the environment of the houseProvide engagement and activities for residentsPerforms other related duties as required

Requirements Candidates must possess a dual certification, including a current 40-hour CRMA and PSS or CNA (CNA license can be expired)Ability and willingness to work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers, staff, supervisors, residents and their familiesAbility to exercise discretion and good judgment in the execution of job duties including ability to identify matters which are confidential in nature, and to keep them confidentialMust be able to work effectively both independently and in a team environmentRequires proficiency in spoken and written English.Ability to understand and respond to residents’ needs and inquiries in English is required.Ability to effectively understand and communicate verbally and in writing, in English, is required.Basic computer skills
