Anesthesiology services provided include obstetrical, general and regional anesthesia as well as emergency and trauma anesthesia The CRNA will have the unique opportunity to practice in a wide variety of cases including Obstetrics and to work with a large team of anesthesiologists and CRNA’s The work hours are flexible, and a wide variety of shifts are available for the right candidates The work culture is supportive, with the latest equipment and safety a top priority CRNA to MD is 1:1 ratio Under physician supervision, with latitude for individual professional judgement Responds to calls outside of the Operating Room for resuscitative measures, and pain management Capable of interviewing patients for pre-operative assessment & evaluation, select the anesthetic agent, technique, and the use of all anesthesia-related drugs appropriate to the individual patient Manages the anesthesia process which includes the induction, maintenance and the emergence from anesthesia Capable of setting up and using all equipment, available in the Operating Room and the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), used for the management of anesthesia and anesthesia monitoring. Responds to calls outside the Operating Room for endotracheal intubation, cardioversions, conscious sedation, and participates in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation Responsible for preparation, and daily maintenance & operation of anesthetic equipment Responsible for maintaining an adequate inventory of anesthetic medications and supplies
