This boutique firm focuses entirely on tax planning and compliance for US/Canadian cross border individual clients and their families. The firm is very well established and have exceptionally close and long-standing relationships with their clients.
About The Opportunity:
As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for all aspects of US and Canadian tax compliance for a range of clientele. You will work directly with your clients and foster strong relationships so that you can anticipate their changing needs. You will also assist with planning work, taking on more complex files as you progress with the firm and assist junior and other senior accountants.90% individual tax returns, 50% CDN, 50% US Dealing with high-net-worth US citizens living in CanadaEstates trust workReview, Planning and Research of US and Cross Border taxCorresponding with CRA and IRSWorking directly with clientsAssisting and mentoring a team of dedicated accountantsThe Requirements: Experience in US taxPrevious experience in public practice2-3 years cross border experienceExperience with personal tax returnsCompensation: Salary: $75,000 - $110,000Extended medical coverageThree weeks vacationPaid overtimeExtended medical and dental coverage
