Job Description

Robert Bosch South Africa is looking to employ an experienced Cross Business Unit Marketing Manager, (Communication and Promotion) in the Power Tools Department. 

The successful incumbent will be responsible for amongst other the following:

Implement a holistic business unit user journey in the country towards end users and retail partners based on global brand strategy, marketing concepts, and specific promotion guidelines in close cooperation with regional marketing functions and salesContribute to the steering of commercial targets Delivers excellence in execution and optimization of KPI's in the countryDeliver marketing packages and train internal staff, sales and external retail partners on marketing concepts (incl. new product launches) as well as new marketing toolsPlan and execute local campaigns and activations on the applicable offline and online transfer prices with the regional target price responsibleContribute to the development of promotions in collaboration with the responsible target price managerGain and provider user insightsProofreading and local adaptations of marketing assetsSupport local retailers with activationsCoordinate local agencies and external resources Contribute to the marketing sales presentation processProvide marketing forecasting when neededKey stakeholders: regional business units and cross business unit target price marketing teams, lead marketing manager, local cross business unit marketing teams and sales

 

QualificationsGrade 12 / Matric and a Degree / Diploma in Marketing or related field

Experience Required:

At least 7+ years’ experience in operational marketing in a similar environment and roleVery good marketing know-how along all promotionsFunctional expertise in local offline and, if required, online media activation, local agency managementHigh expertise in brandingUnderstanding of offline and online landscapesRight communication skills to make topic understood in the broader context of Marketing, Sales and User journey management
