Maximize company growth and profitability by overseeing all aspects of Crate and Barrel operations in a third-party run cross-dock to ensure the highest level of service to area stores and customersCoordinate meetings and communication between the cross-dock, stores, drivers, and the Distribution Center to maintain the highest level of serviceStudy reporting data that measures delivery effectiveness and implement process changes as necessaryBe familiar with routing and dispatching functions at service centers in order to expedite all deliveriesBe responsible for driver procedure compliance to our delivery training program, doing ride-a-longs and/or ride behind to observe delivery teamsWork with stores to review product displayed to ensure that product delivered represents current stock, as well as understand inherent characteristicsPromote a culture of respect and an atmosphere of teamwork in order to foster a positive working environmentInteract with the stores and regional warehouse, to provide accurate order processing and service levels for the distribution of merchandiseAct as a liaison between stores and service providers to be responsive to customer needs and requestsDevelop and maintain a relationship with stores and customer service managers, and participate in store CS meetings, following up with notesDevelop an understanding of the culture and operations of service providersObserve delivery operations and inspect all product prior to delivery or pick-upProvide periodic audits and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracyReview and publish reports for invoicing, auditing, claims/chargebacks, and metrics reporting.Follow the loss prevention and security guidelines to minimize inventory shrinkage and profit lossAbide by the established dependability guidelines to maintain business productivityWhat you’ll bring to the table…
