The mission of SAP S/4HANA and the Public Cloud ERP Product Management team is to drive and grow SAP’s core business as a market leader in Cloud ERP. 

 

Our goal is to define and shape product strategies based on market demand and customer needs, transforming them into practical and high-impact product requirements for engineering teams. Working closely with engineering, product marketing, customers, and partners, we continually improve SAP’s Financial Accounting offerings, positioning our solutions to address customer challenges and creating intuitive, valuable products that delight users. 

 

The Role 

 

We are looking for a passionate candidate (f/m/d) that has an interdisciplinary mindset and drives the vision and strategy for Financial Accounting across several global teams.

 

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Accounting, coupled with proven Product Management skills and a strategic mindset, ensuring the alignment of our Financial Accounting Solution with the broader company objectives.

 

 

What you’ll do

 

As Cross Product Manager (f/m/d) for Financial Accounting in Public Cloud ERP you will work in a team across multiple locations and report to the Product Management Head of Record-to-Report/Accounting in Cloud ERP.  

 

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

 

Ensure end-to-end integration and consistency across several Financial Accounting product teams  Align cross product related developments Provide insight into accounting principles and practices relevant to Financial Accounting, ensuring products are tailored to meet customer needs Collaborate closely with engineering, UX, marketing and customer teams to develop and deliver end-to-end Financial Accounting solutions that resonate with SAP’s diverse customer base Take responsibility and accountability for the success, quality, adoption, usage and satisfaction of the product area Build and maintain partnerships with internal stakeholders, external customers and partner

 

 

What you bring

 

3+ years of experience as a product manager in the tech industry, preferably with accounting or financial software products Strong domain knowledge in Financial Accounting with a deep understanding of IFRS standards. Excellent verbal, communication skills with customers, partners, and internal teams, as well as good presentation skills Strong willingness to delve into new topics and coordinate between different teams. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, to prioritize requirements and judge their impact on the product Strong problem-solving abilities and capable of making data-driven decisions Proven ability to lead and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams Understanding of the cloud ecosystem where it is going and how to leverage Self-motivated and results-driven, with demonstrable success in previous positions Fluent English language skills
