Total Number of Openings 1 Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Crude Oil Trader located in Duo, Tower, Singapore through 27 September 2024 at 11:59 p.m. (SGT). The Singapore organization is part of the larger Crude Supply and Trading (CSAT) organization that has offices located in Houston, Calgary as well as London. CSAT markets all Chevron’s upstream crudes and condensates production, supplies Chevron worldwide refinery system and trades for profit. This position will be a member of the Crude Oil Trading Team in Singapore. We are currently seeking high-energy professionals who are results-focused with sound business acumen and problem-solving skills to join our dynamic organization as a Crude Trader. The successful candidate will be one with good technical knowledge and understanding of crude oil, trade flows, transportation, and risk management. Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to: Marketing of global equity crude into Asian market, supply and optimize crude feedstock for system refineries in Asia Pacific and trading for profit, origination, inventory management, managing price structures etc. The incumbent is expected to be able to build sound relationships with our affiliated partners in upstream and downstream as well as the trading community at large. Sound knowledge of price structures, inventory management, physical cargo trading, futures trading and derivatives trading experience, good negotiating skills will be essential for this role. Required Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline. + Minimum 5 years of supply and trading related experience in crude oil. + Good track record in previous and current roles. + Demonstrated positive influence and teamwork behaviours. + A self-starter with good communication skills and the ability to multi-task in a dynamic high-pressure diverse team environment + Familiar with analytics related to oil market. Relocation Options: Relocation will not be considered within Chevron parameters.International Considerations: Selected candidate will be based in Singapore under the local payroll system and benefits.
