Overview Position: Crusher MaintenanceDivision: AggregatesLocations: South Area________________________________________________________________________________________________Job Summary: Under the direction of the Aggregate Plant Maintenance Superintendent, the crusher maintenance person is responsible for the setup, repair, and fabrication of all crusher operations.________________________________________________________________________________________________Duties and Responsibilities:• Prioritize SAFETY FIRST and help foster a culture of safety!• Visualize, define, plan, communicate, and implement the company vision and core values• Operate crane as necessary• Fabricate new equipment using oxy-acetylene torches, plasma cutter, MIG and stick welders• Change, add, and/or remove head and tail pulleys, material screens, troughing rollers, conveyor belts and shafts• Replace screens and inspect plants before start-up• Conduct workplace exams• Maintain an insurable driving record• Conduct inspections to identify potential failures and/or needed repairs for equipment• Lead in winter maintenance projects• Be a leader to fellow team members and help train/teach them• Champion new methods of equipment tracking and maintenance strategies that are implemented________________________________________________________________________________________________Education and/or Experience:• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)• Must be crane certified or willing and able to get certification at next opportunity• Experience in cutting, welding, and fabrication• Working knowledge of Cones, Jaws, VSI and HSI crushers, Screens, Pumps, and conveyors________________________________________________________________________________________________Individual Development (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):• Attention and commitment to safety• Ability to follow instructions• Ability to work long hours• Ability to move up to 80 pounds• Must be a team player• Ability to think critically________________________________________________________________________________________________Disclaimer: This job description is not intended to contain a comprehensive listing of duties and responsibilities required of the employee.
