Summary:
The PMO Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful delivery of projects within the bank, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategic objectives. This role requires a dynamic leader who can manage day-to-day operations, provide direct leadership to project managers, and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. The PMO Manager will be responsible for driving project timelines, ensuring high-quality delivery, and maintaining active engagement with stakeholders across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management: Provide direct leadership and guidance to project managers, coaches, and team members, ensuring effective collaboration and performance. Coach, mentor, and develop team members to enhance their skills and capabilities in project management methodologies and practices. Project Delivery and Timelines: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes. Ensure adherence to project management standards, methodologies, and best practices across all projects.Stakeholder Engagement: Actively engage with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership, to ensure alignment on project objectives, deliverables, and timelines. Facilitate regular business reviews and stakeholder meetings to provide updates on project status, address concerns, and gather feedback. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure their needs are met and their expectations are managed effectively.PMO Governance and Methodologies: Establish and maintain PMO governance frameworks, ensuring consistency and standardization across all projects. Promote the adoption of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques to enhance project delivery and efficiency. Continuously evaluate and improve PMO processes to drive operational excellence.Strategic Contribution: Collaborate with senior leadership to align project portfolios with the bank’s strategic goals and objectives. Provide insights and recommendations to support decision-making and resource allocation for project initiatives. Drive the implementation of best practices and innovation solutions to enhance project delivery and organizational performance.Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with marketing, customer service, and compliance teams to ensure a cohesive and consistent customer experience across all channels. Share customer feedback and trends with internal stakeholders to drive improvements in products and services.Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Project Management, or a related field; PMP Certification is a plus.Proven experience in project management, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects in the banking or financial services sector.Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve high performance.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex challenges and drive solutions.Experience in coaching and developing project management professionals.Preferred Qualifications:
PMI CertificationKnowledge of creating and tracking project schedules in Microsoft Project.Experience with project management processes and standardsHigh degree of professional confidence and credibility with the presence and communication skills to represent IT-related concepts effectively.Adaptability; self-starter; team player; quality minded; focused; committed; able to work independently.

Compensation Range:
The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.
