Job Overview:

CSP Technician is responsible for the processing and distribution of supplies and equipment to all nursing care units, surgical services and ancillary areas.

Qualifications:

Required:

High School Diploma or GED One year surgical or sterile processing experience

Preferred:

Graduate from an approved Central Supply Program

Certifications and Licenses Required:

Current sterile processing certification national or international

Scheduling Requirements:

Shift working, DaysPer Diem Weekend rotation required

Essential Functions:

Responsible for decontamination of equipmentDisassembles, cleans, assembles, and sterilizes instrumentationMust be conscientious with regard to procedures and capable of working under pressure and interact in professional manner with other departments within the hospitalOther duties as assigned
