**Position Overview:** The Veterinary Financial Coordinator is responsible for building and presenting comprehensive financial estimates for veterinary services, facilitating effective communication between doctors and clients, and working closely with specialists and veterinary teams. This role requires a blend of financial acumen, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-quality environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
We’re looking for a personable yet highly professional “service extraordinaire” to join us in delivering our mission to our clients and their pets.
The Client Service Financial Coordinator position directs, plans and coordinates a variety of patient and client service functions that are related to the client management and healthcare teams for the respective department. They build customer's trust and confidence in our abilities. These functions include, but are not limited to:
+ Develop detailed and accurate financial estimates for proposed veterinary treatments and procedures, ensuring clients have a clear understanding of costs and payment options.
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for financial discussions, addressing client questions about costs, payment plans, and insurance claims.
+ Facilitate effective communication between veterinarians, specialists, and clients to ensure all financial aspects of care are clearly communicated and understood.
+ Work directly with veterinary teams to gather necessary information for financial estimates and coordinate the presentation of these estimates to clients.
+ Assist clients in navigating insurance claims, providing documentation and support to ensure timely processing of claims.
+ Monitor and track financial transactions and client accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-up on outstanding balances.
+ Collaborate with the hospital’s administrative team to streamline financial processes and improve client service.
+ Handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality and professionalism.
+ Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or issues related to billing and financial matters with empathy and efficiency.
**Qualifications:**
+ Previous experience in a financial coordination or administrative role, preferably in a veterinary or healthcare setting.
+ Strong understanding of financial procedures, insurance processing, and client billing.
+ Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain financial information to clients and interact effectively with veterinary professionals.
+ Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
+ Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work efficiently in a high-paced environment.
+ Proficiency with financial software and electronic medical records systems.
+ A compassionate and client-focused approach, with a genuine interest in supporting pets and their families.
+ Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. The pay range for this position is $23 to $25 per hour.
