CSR – Topside Works – Offshore
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced CSR – Topside Works for the New Fiber Link Project. This role is responsible for overseeing all offshore topside construction activities from FEED completion to project execution, ensuring seamless coordination, compliance with HSE standards, and timely delivery. The role will focus on structural, electrical, and telecom installation while managing key project interfaces with multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities – Not Limited to the below:
HSE & Compliance Promote a strong HSE culture across all project phases. Ensure compliance with company safety standards, SIMOPS, and regulatory requirements. Manage work permits and ensure safe execution of offshore construction activities. Construction & Project Execution Lead planning, coordination, and execution of offshore topside construction works. Manage the onsite contractor and oversee EPCIC execution, ensuring adherence to budget and schedule. Supervise demolition, installation, testing, and commissioning of: Redundant HV power and fiber optic cables New cable trays and structural supports Telecom cabinets, equipment, and cabling LV power systems and earthing strips Coordinate with client teams (HSE, QA/QC, Field Operations, Logistics, etc.) for smooth project execution. Ensure technical compliance by reviewing and providing input on engineering deliverables. Monitor and manage interface coordination between Project, EPCIC Contractor, and client entities. Contract & Interface Management Supervise contractor performance and ensure compliance with contract terms. Lead interface coordination between various teams, including EPCIC contractors and client projects. Participate in technical reviews, constructability workshops, 3D model reviews, and HAZID/HAZOP workshops. Manage and resolve technical queries, change orders, and claims in coordination with Engineering and QA/QC teams. Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement Provide regular progress reports and escalate concerns to the Package Manager. Support audit preparations and ensure readiness for internal and external project reviews. Act as a deputy to the Package Manager on project management matters when required. Qualifications & Experience Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Telecom, Civil, or related). Experience: 15+ years in offshore oil & gas construction. 10+ years in offshore brownfield modifications. 7+ years in construction management of telecom and electrical systems. Proven experience in: Installation of telecom cabinets, cable trays, cable supports (hot works), and fiber optic networks. Testing and commissioning of fiber optic and LV power systems. Working with Permit to Work Systems and offshore safety regulations. Managing large-scale offshore projects in complex environments. Certifications (preferred): H2S OPITO & T-BOSIET training MEMIR (Major Emergencies Management – Initial Response) Strong leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
