What’s Required:

Graduation of an approved Surgical Technology Training Program or Licensed Practical Nurse with previous scrub experience.BLSSurgical Technologist certification (C.S.T. or N.C.C.T)

Responsibilities

Prepare the operating room for upcoming surgeriesSterilize equipment and stock up any necessary suppliesPrepare patients for their proceduresSterilize equipment and hand surgeons instruments upon requestOrder and take inventory of supplies and maintain files and records of procedures

Requirements & Skills

Proven work experience as a Surgical Technician or similar roleExperience with instrumentation in the operating roomStrong understanding of surgical technology and surgical procedureKnowledge of medical terminologyPassionate about patient careA graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program and Surgical Technician certification
