A member of Catholic Health Services of Long Island, St. Francis is consistently recognized by U.S. News & World Report as a national leader for Cardiology & Heart Surgery, as well as for Gastroenterology & GI Surgery Job Details Responsibilities: Monitor CT workflow continuously to ensure efficiency and minimize patient wait times Review the CT completed list and identify any unread exams; escalate to Radiology Partners as needed. Investigate and report on CT stroke cases with turnaround time (TAT) outliers as a member of the STROKE committee. Monitor future CT schedules for outpatients needing anesthesia or other special accommodations. Communicate daily with the Nuclear Chief Technologist to coordinate PET/CT utilization after CT-guided IR procedures. Responsible for all accreditation on all CT equipment. Maintain all required data for DOH inspections. Assist technologists with IV placement and CT scanning when necessary. Enter staffing numbers into the staffing worksheet daily. Review timecards in Kronos daily. Analyze work queues and resolve billing issues to prevent revenue loss daily. Maintain employee files, ensuring compliance with licenses, certifications, evaluations, and competencies. Conduct cipher rounding and biweekly hospital STROKE committee meetings. Conduct employee evaluations annually Create and evaluate staffing schedules weekly Recruit and train and schedule Radiology assistants who work with our CT technologists. Requirements: Education and Certification: Associate's degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Valid New York State license as a Radiologic Technologist. ARRT certification in Radiography and advanced certification in CT and/or MRI required. BLS certification required. Proficiency with imaging RIS/PACS systems (experience with EPIC and Sectra preferred). Ability to manage day-to-day operations across multiple imaging modalities and sites if needed. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in CT and/or MRI, with at least 2 years in a leadership, supervisory, or management role preferred. Demonstrated experience in a hospital-based imaging environment. Experience with ACR accreditation, DOH regulations, and Joint Commission standards strongly preferred. Salary Range USD $60.00 - USD $75.00 /Hr. The salary range or rate listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
