CT Radiographer, $15K Sign-On Bonus
Job Description

As a CT Radiographer, you will:

Perform a variety of routine and specialized technical procedures with limited supervision.Schedule examinations according to CT protocols and procedures.Maintain a smooth and productive workflow.

Principal Responsibilities and Tasks:

Clinical Practice/Patient Care:

Operate Tomography Imaging equipment per standard procedures.Demonstrate clinical competence in Musculoskeletal, Neuro, and Body imaging.Show basic knowledge in computers and image management.Respond to patient care emergencies.Pursue continuing education in CT.Document QA activities.Select appropriate protocols.Ensure patient safety per regulatory standards.

Leadership:

Participate in scheduling work with support personnel.Review radiology procedure requests with radiologists or supervisors as needed.

Unit Management:

Notify Chief Tech/Team Leader of protocol change requests.Communicate with clinicians about patient preparation.Comply with departmental and UMMS standards.Ensure availability of unit-based products (e.g., O2 tubing).

Requirements:

Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene license.CPR certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.Understanding of imaging principles and practices.Additional Information
