Per Diem CT Technologist - AHS Chilton Medical Center

Join our Radiology team at AHS Chilton!  We are seeking a Per Diem CT Technologist at Chilton Medical Center located in Pompton Plains NJ.

Role Overview:

Perform a variety of CT imaging procedures that require independent judgment and ingenuity with minimal supervision, on patients of all age groups. Operate CT scanners and associated equipment safely and in accordance with established policies and practices. Explain procedures to patients, monitoring for patient safety and comfort, administering contrast (IV and/or Oral). Conduct imaging in accordance to established protocols and quality standards. Enter complete and accurate documentation into all AHS/Radiology systems. Perform general radiology procedures, biopsies, cardiac imaging and all other exams done in the department.

Key Qualifications:

Associate’s Degree / Graduate of a 2 yr AMA approved Radiology school. ARRT in Radiography and CT Minimum 2 yrs experience in CT preferred and operating GE systems a plus. NJ State Department of Health License in Diagnostic Radiography, IV Certification

Location: AHS Chilton Pompton Plains NJ Schedule: Variable as needed with a minimum of 5 shifts needed per month including 2 weekend days per month.
