This position reports to the Imaging Director. The CT Supervisor oversees daily operations of the CT department to ensure quality service and compliance with State, Federal, and JCAHO regulations; compliance with RMC and department policies and procedures, and ACR practice guidelines. The CT supervisor is responsible for coordinating daily work schedules to ensure adequate staffing to promote timely and efficient operation for the care and treatment of patients. Ensures equipment and procedures are safe, functional, and meets the needs of the department. Monitors staff performance and assist the director in the evaluation and development of staff competencies. The supervisor ensures the education and training of existing and new staff members, monitors and maintains supplies for cost effectiveness, completes required management reports in a timely manner. The supervisor is accountable for the adherence to state, federal, ACR, Joint Commission, and other regulatory agencies for practice rules, procedures, and regulations. ARRT (CT) Certification. Minimum 5 years progressive CT experience. ??????? Registered CT Technologist with (ARRT), BLS Certification. ??????? Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job including CT and PET Imaging, human relations and effective communication skills.
