Agency/Travel CT Techs:  No need to travel!   Work a 13-Week Temporary Assignment at a premium rate!   Location:  Community Hospital, Munster, IN Shifts:  12P-10:30P or 2P-12:30A Weekend Commitment:  Every other weekend Holidays:  One major holiday No on-call     POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY:         

The technologists are under the general supervision of the special imaging supervisor/director of imaging services, and the clinical direction of the radiology medical director. The technologist will perform diagnostic procedures at a technical level as outlined in the department policy and procedure manual.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: 

 

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology Registered in radiography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) required. Current license from the Indiana State Department of Health to operate ionizing radiation equipment. Two years of specialized training/experience  CT certification by ARRT required.  Maintain CPR certification Siemens experience strongly preferred Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for neonates, infants, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients/family served Excellent attitude, interpersonal skills and communication abilities necessary to interact with patient, physicians and other hospital associates
