UPMC Wellsboro is seeking a Casual CT Technologist, Diagnostic Technologist, or Imaging Student to join our dedicated team. This position offers a minimum of one eight-hour shift per pay period or one weekend shift per month, with shifts that may be days, evenings, or nights. One holiday per year is required.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Excellence: Perform imaging procedures independently, applying prescribed ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes. Standardization Activities: Participate in system-level workgroups to standardize practices. Quality Assurance: Assist with QA, regulatory testing, and other technical initiatives. Training and Mentorship: Help train staff and student technologists, sharing your expertise. Flexibility: Work within different clinical areas to support departmental needs, maintaining effective communication with supervisors and managers. Advanced Competency: Demonstrate proficiency in specialty equipment and analyze data promptly. Patient Care: Provide high-quality patient care, adhering to the latest protocols and procedures. Team Collaboration: Work closely with Radiologists on protocol development and ensure excellent communication with all team members.

Qualifications:

Certifications: Primary ARRT certification in Radiology and secondary ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (ARRT ® and (CT)). Career Ladder: Final job title will reflect your level of education, experience, and manager discretion at the time of offer.
