**Overview**
As our CT Tech at CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson, you will help capture usable diagnostic images from patients so the Radiologist can accurately diagnose and/or rule out different conditions.
Every day you’ll create cross-section images of the skeleton, tissues, and internal organs. You'll perform a variety of specialized technical tasks associated with the operation of CT scanners and related equipment to assist the radiologist in the detection of anatomical abnormalities. You will also need to enjoy working directly with people as you play a huge role in the patient experience.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to fully understand the importance of diagnostic imaging. This includes knowledge of the general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and capturing clear results for timely and accurate diagnosis.
CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson part of CommonSpirit Health a national nonprofit health system based in Englewood, Colorado. The faith-based system operates in 18 states and includes 103 hospitals. Additional services offered within the system are: long-term care assisted and residential living communities community health services organizations home health agencies and numerous outpatient facilities.
**Schedule:** 7 am - 7 pm. Fri, Sat, Sun. No call. Willing to train CT!

**Responsibilities**
1. Utilizes innovative customer service techniques to provide a positive patient care experience for the patient and their
family.
2. Acts professionally in all dealings with internal and external customers to promote a working environment that
focuses on the patient experience.
3. Perform complex specialized tasks associated with the operations of CT scanners and related equipment in the
accordance with prescribed radiation safety procedures. Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and
protective equipment as necessary.
4. Performs essential tasks described in the Radiologic Technologist job description.
5. Starts IV’s and the injecting of contrast, if applicable.
6. Maintains records for compliance for TJC and ACR accreditation.
7. Utilize electronic health record.
**Qualifications**
**Required:**
+ Associate's Degree or equivalent.
+ Graduate of an Accredited School of Radiology
+ North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy State License (MRAD: ND)
+ RT (ARRT) (R)
+ RT (ARRT) (CT) to be obtained within 18 months of start date.
+ Basic Life Support (BLS)
**Preferred:**
+ 1-2 years of CT experience.

**Pay Range**
$29.89 - $43.34 /hour
