PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (*Essential Functions)
*Performs CT procedures.*Obtains guidance from the radiologist when order appears unclear or inappropriate.*Obtains pertinent histories and explains exam results to patient.*Procures results on Stat exams and calls results.Answers all phone calls and schedules special procedures.Maintains work area and equipment.Helps to train and orientate new staff and students to job functions.Performs other duties as needed and/or assigned. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
EDUCATION
All post high school education must have been obtained from a recognized College or University. Additional education may be substituted for experience requirements should the substitution not conflict with State or Board certification/license requirements.
Associates Degree in Radiology Required
EXPERIENCE
1 year Imaging Related Preferred
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION
Active IN Radiologic Technologist License RequiredARRT (R) Radiography Registration through The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists RequiredCT registration under the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) required within one year of hire Certified Basic Life Support Certification Required
