As a CT Technologist at Newport Medical Center, you’ll play an essential role in delivering high-quality diagnostic care and supporting patients through each step of their imaging process.

**Requirements:**
+ Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
+ Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology and A.R.R.T. registration
+ Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within radiologic technology
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Perform CT and X-ray exams following established protocols to ensure diagnostic accuracy, quality, and efficiency
+ Prepare and verify patient information, confirming informed consent and assisting as necessary
+ Adjust equipment for optimal imaging results, guiding patients through each step and administering contrast media as ordered
+ Use experience and judgment to meet procedural goals effectively, with flexibility and creativity to address unique patient needs
+ Operate independently with general supervision, utilizing the autonomy allowed within this role to make informed decisions
