The Adventure Ahead:
The CTP Claims Team Lead helps guide and support a team of claims examiners to ensure timely and accurate claims processing. As an expert in CTP claims processing, this role will provide coaching and training, resolve complex claims, and maintain compliance with company policies and regulations, while acting as a point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders related to CTP claims handling.
Determine insurance coverage by examining claim information, policies, and other records, and interview claimants and other providersClearly and concisely communicate written claims determinations to members and claimants detailing policy language and state processing guidelines, as necessaryManage complex or high-value claims, including customer interaction and dispute resolution and resolve questionable claims by investigation: comparing claims information with evidenceMaintain professional and technical knowledge by leading educational workshops and establishing professional networks; Facilitate ongoing training sessions to Claims and Quality Teams on policy language and claim processing application; Provide ongoing support and guidance to trainees, addressing questions and concerns post-training to solidify understanding and application of learned skillsAssist in the development and maintenance of claims processes and guideline materialsAnalyze data to identify potential issues and implement corrective actionsSkills and Experience Needed:
Bachelors Degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience6 years of relevant and progressive experience in CTP claims processingPossess and has ability to apply broad knowledge of principles, practices, and proceduresExcellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacyKnowledgeable of industry changes, legal updates, and technical developments related to applicable area of the Company’s business to proactively respond to changing business environmentExceptional organizational and analytical skills, demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyAdvanced proficiency and expertise using Microsoft Office package (Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Word, Teams)We offer a competitive salary and benefits package including:
