Job Title: Ink Technical Service Rep 

Location: Central West Region - Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Kansas City, MO

Travel: 70% and overnight, including air/flight

 

In this role, you will provide dedicated ink technical support to our valued customers in Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Kansas City, MO. In this role, you'll be pivotal in identifying and addressing the technical and continuous improvement needs of our assigned customers, ensuring the seamless delivery of our products and services. 

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Support the development of SunSync software, need to be able to program and support all internal efforts to establish the KPI tool Support. Support the continued training and implementation of SunFocus remote troubleshooting for our customers. Assist Digital Manager in vetting more digital options for the CTS (Customer Technical Services) program.  For example, working with AI companies to help develop a way to offer troubleshooting and tech sheets 24/7. Support SunColorBox implementation. SunColorBox is a comprehensive suite of products and services that delivers digital color using a digital workflow.  It provides improved color reproductions across substrates management and color consistency on packaging and digitally manages colors to ensure color accuracy while minimizing waste - whether printing spot color, CMYK or expanded color gamut (ECG). Design and train CTS on new applications and forms for customer audits, trial reports and Technical Data Sheet introduction for Inplants. With approval and guidance from the Digital Manager, will investigate programs that can lead to capital request.  Will help with the ramework and language of service agreements that can help advance the digital initiative for Sun Chemical.

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Strong ability to organize data into reports and to analyze data for return on investment while utilizing MS Excel and PowerPoint programs. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be a good communicator. Strong understanding of user centered software design, understanding of color analysis software. Ability to work independently, multitask and manage multiple projects. Understanding of Six Sigma and/or lean manufacturing.

 

PREFERRED:

Undergraduate degree in a technical discipline, Business Administration or other relevant area of study desired. Experience with CTS
