CTT Clinician II
UPMC’s Western Behavioral Health’s Community Treatment Team (CTT) provides intense outpatient mental health treatment services to consumers with serious and persistent mental illnesses who have not previously found success in traditional outpatient mental health services. Our clinicians serve the community through an evidenced based approach, building trusting relationships with consumers through listening to their needs and concerns, addressing questions, obtaining clinical information, arranging outpatient evaluations and responding to telephone crises. No one day is the same at our 24/7 program! This role enables you to provide comprehensive, community-based care to individuals with severe mental illness while being present for important personal moments. Notably, our department was the **first ACT (Assertive Community Treatment) team to achieve licensure in PA** , and our WBH ACT Teams have been rated as **“Exemplary” through annual third-party fidelity reviews** . **Responsibilities:** **Consumer Support and Advocacy** + Support WRAP plan, referral services, and follow-up + Provide counseling and community/office services + Advocate in legal proceedings and assist with basic needs **Assessments and Crisis Management** + Complete assessments and manage crises + Coordinate cases for 10-15 individuals **Team Collaboration and Documentation** + Participate in team meetings and collaborate with agencies + Submit timely documentation and maintain records **Education and Standards** + Implement ACT standards and evidence-based practices + Maintain productivity, participate in rotations, and obtain insurance authorizations + Masters Degree in Psychology, Counseling or Social Work with three years clinical experience. + In lieu of this, Bachelors Degree in Psychology, Counseling or Social Work with five years clinical experience with three years crisis experience will be considered. + Other fields of study may be considered with coursework of at least 12 credits in human services and/or relevant mental health experience. + Work history that includes phone triage, as well as an in depth knowledge and proven skill at doing psychiatric assessments. + Experience in mental health crisis intervention, case management, or in home therapy preferred. + Excellent, recovery-oriented interpersonal relations. + Ability to work shifts, weekends, holidays, and to assume on call responsibilities. + May in the course of their duties be in rooms where medications are stored or may transport medications when they transport patients. + Transportation of medication is limited from one department to another. + **Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:** + Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) + Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) + Comprehensive Crisis Management (CCMC) + Driver's License + Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal + Act 33 with renewal + Act 34 with renewal + Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal **_UPMC is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran_**
