This Culinary Events Coordinator @ The Cardinal will provide exceptional customer service that establishes a warm, secure and friendly atmosphere in the community. Additionally, this role may support or be responsible for the planning and execution of dining related special events within the community. Responding immediately to resident requests, greeting residents and visitors in the dining room and by phone in a friendly, timely and professional manner is always expected. Taking Room Service orders and to go orders accurately and using the communities POS to communicate to kitchen may be required, depending on the community. Setting up room service carts and to go bags and ensuring order is complete and accurately delivered to our residents in a timely manner may also be required.
Schedule: FT Monday - Friday 6am -2:30pm - weekends as needed
Pay Rate $25

What will I do every day?
Oversee the planning, execution, and management of all dining-related special events and celebrations within the community, ensuring a high standard of service and resident and guest satisfaction if assigned to manage events.Attend community events meetings and work closely with other departments to coordinate logistics and resources for successful events.Ensure that all necessary equipment is set up and ready prior to events, maintaining a clean and organized environment may be required.Review and process all submitted event request sheets for community events, ensuringall details are accurately captured and communicatedCreate and review special events reservation lists, ensuring accurate tracking of attendees and special requests• Develop and maintain effective relationships with residents and associates through open communication and engagement.
Assist with day-to-day departmental operations under the guidance of the Culinary Manager, contributing to a smooth workflow.
What will I need to be successful in this role?
Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required.Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.Positive attitude and a customer-focused mindset.Ability to lift and carry trays, and other equipment.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
