Cultivation Supervisor

Job Type: Full Time; Exempt

Schedule: Monday to Friday - 6:45 am to 4 pm 

Compensation: $57,000 to $64,000 based on relevant experience - 7.5% bonus target

Who Are You:

As the Cultivation Supervisor, you are responsible for managing one or more departments of the cultivation facility. This position will report to the Cultivation Manager and assist in all day to day management responsibilities across the Mom and Propagation rooms at our Cultivation center. This position will be expected to keep detailed records on production, plant health, and inventory records across the specific areas of cultivation to ensure our team meets company quality standards and state compliance expectations. 

What You Will Do:

Assist in the management of a large-scale cultivation facility, specifically in Mom and Prop Over see a team of 10 team members Ensure the documented and effective training of entire cultivation team. Manage department specific HR functions including scheduling, employee coaching, year-end reviews, etc Perform all the tasks in the grow from clone through harvest while coaching team members, as necessary Monitor environmental control systems Maintain a clean and organized work environment Execute schedule to achieve production requirements on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis Responsible for department and facility KPIs to ensure a culture of continuous improvement Awareness of industry best-practices and stay current on new techniques Comprehensive knowledge of various cannabis strains Maintain cultivation protocols per Curaleaf SOPs and state compliance regulations Comply with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure requirements Management of staff over weekends and holidays as required Willingness to work on site on a rotational weekend schedule

What You Will Bring:

Minimum of 3 years cannabis cultivation experience; experience with indoor cultivation is a plus Minimum of 2 years management experience including direct supervision of 5+ people Strong knowledge of multiple media and irrigation techniques Knowledge of large-scale commercial cultivation, including crop rotation management, light requirements, and environmental controls Familiarity of plant diseases, pests, and nutrient deficiencies and toxicity Strong knowledge of the cannabis plant and genetics Experience with continuous improvement principles, kaizen, 5S, or Six Sigma techniques is a plus Ability to build a cohesive and positive team environment including coaching and performance management techniques Strong time management skills and the ability plan and prioritize in a fast paced, dynamic environment Strong Microsoft Suite skills especially within Excel Ability to maintain detailed compliance and personnel information with confidentiality

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds and unassisted on a regular basis Ability to work for long periods of time standing, sitting, walking, bending below knee height and reaching above shoulder height Ability to maintain extended and repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers to cut, package and manipulate small objects Ability to occasionally climb ladder or crawl under low spaces Litchfield IL Pay Range$57,000—$64,000 USD
