Job Description
The CUSO FTP Lead is responsible for maintaining and enhancing funds transfer pricing (“FTP”) methodologies and processes related to transfer of interest rate risk (IRR) and liquidity risk across RBC’s combined US operations (“CUSO”) with emphasis on the banking entities. A good understanding of financial/mathematical concepts, bank’s products and balance sheet, and strong technical and analytical skills are preferred. In the delivery of the above mandate, the position is required to maintain a close working relationship with senior Corporate Treasury, Business, and Finance contacts. The position also provides timely and actionable information to senior management.
What will you do?
Develop, document, implement and maintain FTP framework, methodologies, and processes that provide market and customer behavior based pricing guidance for the CUSO entities;Transfer and/or price interest rate and liquidity risks inherent in the products for risk management. Maintain and enhance FTP production models and processes Enhance funds transfer pricing assumptions and considerations with respect to new and modified products aligned with evolving internal & regulatory liquidity requirementsExecute plan and forecast FTP rates including product profile, rates impact, and NIM analysisAssist with business meetings, queries, new products, and on-going product risk assessmentsWork closely with Liquidity Risk and Interest Rate Risk Measurement & Management teams to ensure alignment between risk management and FTP mechanismsWork with team members to automate and enhance methodologies & processesSupport regulatory, auditory and internal bodies inquiries related to Funds Transfer pricingWhat do you need to succeed?
Must have:
Undergraduate/Graduate Degree in engineering, math, or finance related fields2+ years’ work experience in Fund Transfer Pricing in a BankMS Office Suite, strong Excel modelling, VBA, SQLSolid understanding of mathematical/financial principles, risk conceptsGood understanding of bank’s products and balance sheetFamiliarity with business and accounting regulationsNice-to-have:
Professional designations (e.g. CFA, FRM, CPA)Experience with Quantitative Risk management (“QRM”),5+ years experience within TreasuryExperience in Asset Liability ManagementExperience with programming languagesExperience with business intelligence and/or statistical software, including Tableau, PythonWhat’s in it for you?

This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
