This position lead the entire commercial team (14 resources) and is responsible for leading all the commercial aspects of India business transactions and leads the following activities:
Sales - Pre-Order:
Collaborating with the business to gain a comprehensive understanding of the scope for new orders and projects. Assisting with indirect tax planning to facilitate accurate estimations and sales strategies. Gaining proficiency in material movement processes and ensuring adherence to commercial terms and conditions.Operation/Execution Support During Project Execution:
Facilitating strong communication between the commercial team and the Operations team, as well as coordinating with Treasury, trade compliance, and finance departments. Engaging with the Logistics and Factory teams to manage material movement in accordance with purchase order terms.Billing, Documentation, and Reconciliation Support:
Ensuring billing aligns with customer purchase order terms and material movement, while promoting timely billing practices as specified in the purchase orders. Coordinating closely with Operations and customers to manage commercial documentation effectively.Documentation Support for Tax Audits:
Leading efforts to compile essential supporting documents required for audits and tax assessments. Maintaining strong collaboration with the indirect tax team to address specific contract methodologies and resolve any tax-related issues with customers and vendors.Bank Guarantee Support:
Overseeing the review of commercial terms and collaborating with customers regarding bank guarantee formats. Leading the collection efforts for any expired guarantees.Team Management and Development:
Managing the commercial team efficiently. Providing mentorship and guidance to team members. Identifying training needs within the team for continuous improvement. Keeping business teams informed on commercial and tax matrices as well as management information systems (MIS).Qualification and Technical Abilities:

B-Com/ CA or CMA Inter/ MBA Finance/ M-COM with more than 12 years of relevant experience
· Experience in Manufacturing, Project & Service Industry is a must
· Comfortable and experienced at dealing with various functions and global stakeholders.
· Fluent in verbal English and in written communication.
· Knowledge of ERP systems, Preferable SAP . Excellent in MS Office tools .
· Good knowledge of Direct /Indirect Taxes , Trade compliance & Treasury Operations
· Comprehensive commercial knowledge from Sales Support and Order to Cash.
