The Custodial Services Supervisor responsibilities includes direct supervision of custodial employees that maintain the cleanliness of residence halls, off-campus apartments, offices, fitness centers, furnishings, equipment, as well as building entrances and exterior walkways. The Custodial Supervisor is responsible for training new employees in proper custodial procedures for the use of manually operated tools, equipment, and cleaning
supplies. Inspects custodial equipment in assigned area after each use and report problems by the end of that days shift to Custodial Services Assistant Manager and note in daily log. Daily progress inspection of allspecial project assignments by the end of shift and note in daily log. Required to perform daily quality assurance inspections in the assigned areas of their employees. Denotes and resolves any cleaning issues within 24 hours,
and applies measures to prevent cleaning deficiencies from occurring. Monitors and interprets union contract.
formal and informal employee grievances and prepares written responses. Documents performance, provides performance feedback, and formally evaluates the work of the employee; provides reward and recognition for proper and efficient performance. Submit and close work orders on daily basis. Required daily to verify assignments for special event set-ups/breakdowns are clean and ready for use. Coordinates cleaning of rooms for
camps, conferences and new semester (Fall, Spring, and Summer). Informs staff of relevant business issues and their impact on the organization.
This position is Monday through Friday. 2-4 years custodial experience is preferred.

Must have a valid PA driver's license. Must be mobile enough to travel to all assigned facilities on campus. Must have ability to communicate by means of both verbal and non-verbal communication. Must have good analytical skills.Knowledge of custodial policies and procedures.
