The Custodial Supervisor will be responsible for directing and supervising the custodial operations to ensure the custodial staff has the appropriate equipment and resources to perform their jobs and meet contract goals and deadlines. Provide expertise to the cleaning team on cleaning and sanitizing procedures, as well as environmental cleaning processes and procedures.  Ensures the custodial staff safely uses cleaning solutions while engaged in work tasks. Ensures custodial operations meet performance standards detailed in the contract Statement of Work for the Custodial Services contract at Andrews Airforce Base (CN FA286023C0018).

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Plan, schedule, coordinate, train, supervise, and ensure effective performance and completion of all contract requirements. Ensures that the quality of custodial services meets established guidelines by inspecting the work of custodial personnel and directing corrective measures to be taken when necessary to meet those guidelines. Schedule the custodial staff, in sufficient quantity to accomplish all cleaning tasks within confines of budget, remedial services, and quality control inspections. Coordinate with employees to produce work schedule in advance of work requirements. Direct and supervise the daily activities of a mixed workforce of full-time, part-time Custodians, as well subcontractor support staff. Provide cleaning services as required to ensure contract requirements are met. Assist custodial personnel by instructing all employees in the proper methods and use of materials and equipment for safe and efficient work performance, evaluating individual performances to meet established standards, providing require performance evaluations on custodial personnel and making recommendations regarding the retention of new employees. Track, inventory and reorder all supplies and equipment as needed and in a timely manner, analyzing for efficiency Orders and picks up materials and supplies from outside vendors as appropriate. Reports need for major repairs/maintenance to Facilities staff. Maintains records of work performed and materials used. Other duties as assigned.

 

Pay Rate: $25.00 to $28.00 Hourly
