THE POSITION
Are you someone who takes pride in keeping things clean and tidy? The Department of Transportation is seeking a motivated and reliable Custodial Worker 1! In this position, you will maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of our buildings and grounds at a Welcome Center. Your efforts will contribute to a pleasant and welcoming environment for everyone who uses our facilities. Take advantage of this opportunity to shine!
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this role, your main focus will be to maintain a tidy environment. This will include routine tasks such as cleaning, waxing, dusting, and also polishing the floors to keep them in top condition. You will also handle restroom sanitation and ensure that supplies are always stocked, along with the proper disposal of waste. Additionally, you will be tasked with the upkeep of outdoor spaces and building entrances. This includes snow removal, sweeping walkways, and mowing the lawn to create a welcoming atmosphere. Your efforts will contribute significantly to the overall appearance and safety of the premises.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
+ Full-time employment
+ Work hours are 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM, Saturday - Monday, 4:00 PM to 12:00 PM, Tuesday - Wednesday, with a 30-minute lunch. Work hours may vary.
+ Work locations may vary between two addresses:
+ I 70 Crystal Spring Welcome Center, Crystal Spring, PA 15536
+ I 70 Wafordsburg Welcome Center, Warfordsburg, PA 17267
+ Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
