THE POSITION
The Pennsylvania State Police is on the lookout for a Custodial Worker to join their team in Dauphin County. This role involves carrying out essential custodial tasks to ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of the Department Headquarters. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this role, you will be responsible for the routine cleaning of designated spaces. Your tasks will encompass mopping floors, dusting surfaces, emptying waste receptacles, checking that all lights are functioning properly, and ensuring that restrooms are stocked with necessary supplies. Additionally, you will be required to rearrange furniture and assist in unloading supplies from delivery vehicles. Replacing light bulbs will also be part of your responsibilities as needed.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
+ Full-time employment
+ Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
+ This position does not offer telework
+ Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $34,523.00.

+ You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
+ You must pass criminal history and background investigations if you do not have a current Pennsylvania State Police background on file.
+ You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
