Temporary position$19.00 /hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Thursday from 07:00am to 05:00pm)Clean and sanitize classrooms, offices, restrooms, cafeterias, and common areas.Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors; dust and clean surfaces.Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste according to school guidelines.Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report when replenishment is needed.Perform minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, replacing air filters, and reporting facility issues.Set up and break down furniture and equipment for school events and activities.Ensure all areas are secure by locking doors, setting alarms, and following safety protocols.Respond promptly to emergencies, spills, or maintenance issues to maintain safety.Follow school policies and procedures for chemical use and safety compliance.Collaborate with school staff to support a positive and welcoming campus environment.Custodian Qualifications:
Previous custodial, janitorial, or cleaning experience preferred.Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.Physical ability to perform tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.Must be able to obtain a Fingerprint Clarence Card prior to start date.
