LOCATION: Pensacola Bay Center, Pensacola Florida POSITION: Housekeeping/Event Attendant DEPARTMENT: Operations REPORTS TO: Operations Manager FLSA STATUS: Part Time, Non-exempt GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an opening for a Housekeeping/ Event Attendant at the Pensacola Bay Center. This is a hands-on position performing general housekeeping duties as required during daily work hours, scheduled events, and post event cleans. Multiple positions are available with possible advancement opportunities. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist Facility Services Supervisor with monitoring janitorial duties on related shifts during scheduled daily work hours and/or special events to ensure all cleaning tasks are being met. Utilize proper cleaning techniques required to ensure complete satisfaction at the facility and assurance quality cleaning standards are being met, while adhering to all required safety procedures. Review event documents for assigning of zone/area cleaning and housekeeping issues; recommend solutions to identified issues. Review housekeeping task list items and coordinate assigned cleaning and equipment movement in a safe, efficient manner with accepted housekeeping principles. Assist with maintaining appropriate inventory stock of supplies and equipment to perform assigned tasks. Cleanup spills, breakages, debris and restock bathroom supplies in the facility as required. General janitorial functions such as, but not limited to: sweeping, mopping, scrubbing floors, stripping composite floors, extracting carpet, washing glass/windows/mirrored surfaces, washing walls, cleaning stainless steel, dusting, replenishing supplies, bailing cardboard, rubbish and debris removal. All other duties and responsibilities as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: N/A QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Work inside and outside the building is required and may have some exposure to adverse conditions. Must be able to hear and speak to use a two-way radio. Work flexible hours, including nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED required. Prior and verifiable Housekeeping experience. Experience in an arena or stadium maintenance environment SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Understand and capable of ensuring that all laws, building codes, ordinances, policies, procedures, risk management and emergency procedures are followed. Exhibit excellent detailed organizational and communication skills. Maintain a professional presentation, appearance and work ethic. Work safely and effectively under pressure and/or stringent schedule to produce accurate results and meet deadlines. Foster working relationship with partners, clients, employees, exhibitors, and patrons during employment. COMPUTER SKILLS: Minimum computer skills preferred.
