Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing daily cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking of restrooms and public areas. This includes cleaning restroom commodes, vanities, toilets, urinals, floors, walls, and other surfaces. Additionally, the role involves mopping, vacuuming, cleaning glass surfaces, wiping down tables, disposing of trash and recyclables, changing liners, and ensuring overall cleanliness and replenishment of paper products in restrooms. The custodian must be capable of lifting and/or moving equipment and supplies up to fifty (50) pounds, performing additional projects as assigned, and understanding the importance of product safety. Regular communication with occupants in assigned areas and providing feedback to supervisors is essential.

Work Environment

This position is based in Philadelphia. Shifts vary between 1st shift (5:00am-1:30pm, 6:00am-2:30pm, 8:00am-4:30pm), 2nd shift (4:00pm-12:30am), and 3rd shift (12:00am-8:30am). The schedule may include non-traditional work weeks, such as Tuesday-Saturday with days off on Sunday and Monday. Orientation training will take place on the 1st shift for two weeks before starting the assigned schedule. The facility employs over 450 housekeeping staff.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43472.00 - $43472.00
