Miller Brother Staffing Solutions is seeking reliable candidates for a custodian position with a company in Erie, PA.  This is a 1st shift position with a pay range of $15-16/hour.

Custodian

Shift: 8am-4pm M-F 
Pay Rate: $15-16/hr
Screening Process: resume submission and a face to face interview with the company

***Candidate must pass a drug screen and be open to a criminal background check***

Description "Daily" Tasks (but not limited to)

Entrances: x 3 
•    Damp Mop Hard Surface Floors move furniture as needed. - Use Appropriate Cleaner
•    Vacuum Walk-Off Mats

Lobbies: x 2 
•    Empty And Remove Trash, Replace Liner If Needed
•    Vacuum All Carpet
•    Damp Mop Hard Surface Floors

Front Offices:
•    Empty trash cans from all meeting rooms and common areas, empty large community trash can. 
•     Vacuum hallways and high-traffic areas. 
•    Clean, organize, and restock utensils and refreshments in the meeting rooms as needed.  

Plant Lunchroom:
•    Clean Vending Machines, Walls and Light Switches
•    Damp Mop Hard Surface Floors- Use Appropriate Cleaner
•    Damp Wipe All Lunchroom Tables
•    Damp Wipe Eating Area Chairs
•    Damp Wipe Countertops Using Appropriate Cleaner. 
•    Clean Sinks Using Appropriate Cleaner
•    Clean Coffee Machine/Station
•    Vacuum Walk-Off Mats 
•    Damp Clean Interior and Exterior of Microwave
•    Empty And Remove Trash
•    Clean and organize water cooler areas. Add cups when needed. 


Restrooms:
•    Empty Trash, Refill Supply Dispensers, Clean and Disinfect Restroom Fixtures and toilets, clean mirrors, counters, partitions and chrome, sweep and mop floor using appropriate cleaner, replace air freshener as needed. 

Front Office Coffee Station:
•    Damp Wipe Countertops Using Appropriate Cleaner
•    Clean Sinks Using Appropriate Cleaner
•    Empty And Remove Trash
•    Clean interior and exterior of the microwaves. 
•    Empty And Remove Trash

Other:

•    Production Floor – run the dust mop across the production floor prior to running the scrubber throughout the plant ensuring the high-traffic areas are scrubbed. 
•    Clean and arrange all janitors’ closets and mop areas. 
Outside Duties: 
•    Empty “Smokers Outposts.” 

Description "Weekly" (but not limited to) 

Entrances:
•    Clean All Walls, Light Switches and Doors
•    Detail Vacuum All Carpet and furniture.
•    Clean Both Sides of Door Glass, wall glass, and Wipe Frames
•    Clean and disinfect phone, ensure sanitary wipes are present. 
•    Empty garbage can and wipe down the outside. 

Lobbies:
•    Dust All Horizontal Surfaces Within Normal Reach
•    Clean All Walls, Light Switches and Doors
•    Clean And Sanitize Telephones
•    Detail Vacuum All Carpet
•    Damp Mop Hard Surface Floors (ensure you move all furniture and objects to clen hard to reach areas.) - Use Appropriate Cleaner

Front Offices:
•    Clean All Walls, Light Switches and Doors
•    Remove Large Trash, replace liner If needed
•    Detail Vacuum All Carpet 

Hallways:
•    Detail Vacuum All Carpet
•    Spot Clean All Walls, Light Switches and Doors

Plant Lunchroom:
•    Clean Refrigerator, Empty Contents on Fridays. 

Production Floor: 
•    Run floor scrubber down main aisleways and heavy traffic areas.

Description "Monthly"

Entrances:
•    Detail Dust - High and Low Areas
•    Detail Vacuum - Corners and Edges

Lobbies:
•    Detail Dust - High and Low Areas
•    Vacuum Or Brush Upholstered Furniture
•    Detail Vacuum - Corners and Edges

Front Offices:
•    Detail Dust - High and Low Areas
•    Detail Vacuum - Corners and Edges

Hallways:
•    Detail Dust - High and Low Areas
•    Detail Vacuum - Corners and Edges

Plant Lunchroom:
•    Detail Dust - High and Low Areas
•    Run the scrubber throughout the lunchroom. 
•    Trash can detail, wipe down and clean out. 

Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Previous cleaning experience preferred A reliable candidate that will be on time and report to work every day
