OVERVIEW:
The Custodian - Groundskeeper will oversee the cleanliness, maintenance, and overall functionality of our facilities and grounds. This role involves hands-on custodial and grounds keeping duties ensuring a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment for programs, staff, and community members.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and implement maintenance and cleaning schedules Identify any maintenance, repair, and safety issues Manage the inventory of supplies, tools, and equipment Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules and safety compliance Clean and sanitize restrooms, offices, kitchens, meeting rooms, and common areas Sweep, mop, vacuum, and shampoo carpets; strip and wax floors Empty trash and recycling bins Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces Restock supplies around the facility Ensure event areas are cleaned and set up for activities or meetings Perform routine landscaping tasks, including pruning, mowing, trimming, weeding, and watering Remove debris and maintain the cleanliness of outdoor areas, including parking lots and walkways Report any exterior maintenance issues Ensure that the property is secure and that storage areas and gates are locked Maintain Corps vehicles Other related duties as requiredEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent (required) Experience in maintenanceSKILLS AND ABILITIES:
