The job of the Custom Application Developer is to provide application support to the customer at Camp Henry. This includes, but is not limited to, the following areas of responsibilities:
JOB REQUIREMENTS
SharePoint Front-End Development: Augment the 403rd AFSB, AFSBn, and LRC Knowledge Management Directorate by performing SharePoint front-end development capabilities. Design and Implement Solutions: Design, develop, pilot, and implement highly scalable SharePoint automation solutions and create enterprise content on the 403rd AFSB, AFSBn, or LRC SharePoint Portals (NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and CENTRIXS-K). Content Design and User Support: Provide content design, creation, and user support to end-users, employing out-of-the-box capabilities in MS InfoPath, MS Visual Studio, SharePoint Designer, and related tools. Automation of Processes: Automate critical business and information processes using forms, workflows, dashboards, search, taxonomies, and other front-end mechanisms to simplify data entry, validation, storage, retrieval, and reporting. Reusable Solutions Development: Create reusable solutions to support collaboration efforts across all networks (NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and CENTRIXS-K), including developing custom front-end solutions. SharePoint Portal Support: Provide required SharePoint Portal support to ensure optimal operation of the 403rd AFSB, AFSBn, or LRC Microsoft Office SharePoint Portal (MOSS) on all three networks, including administration, integration, and troubleshooting. Enhancement Features Installation: Install additional enhancement features to the SharePoint Portals, such as advanced web parts, build templates, write stored procedures, perform basic database maintenance, and deploy features. Knowledge Management Plans and Policy: Provide knowledge management plans, policy, and governance, supporting the Government in KM planning, developing theater policy, and governing KM administration. KM Design and Development: Perform KM design, engineering, development, testing, deployment, training, and change management of the knowledge management software, systems, and networks. Routine Operations and Maintenance: Perform routine operations and maintenance on current SharePoint site collections and any future versions of SharePoint, including modification and maintenance of enterprise content, permissions maintenance, and content troubleshooting. Content Management Framework: Manage the content management framework that incorporates automated templates for scalable expansion, document management, and workflow management. Interface Management: Create and manage intuitive interfaces between 403rd AFSB, AFSBn, and LRC end-users and front-end data sources.
