JOB OVERVIEW
The Custom Club Coordinator will assist all sales operations related to Custom Clubs in the US, Canada and Latin America. This role works with many different departments to problem solve, analyze and coordinate the business processes related to Custom Clubs. This position will also support investigating & validating the accuracy of sales systems, tools & processes, daily communication and coordination with supply planners to ensure accurate Custom order quote dates, coordination with production and distribution to ensure highest levels of Customer Service are met. This position will also be required to document & communicate processes related to Custom Clubs.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Support North American Custom Club Sales Operations Performance
• Support all daily operations supporting custom clubs ensuring on time levels are achieved for US, Canada and Latin America Sales.
• Understanding of the Custom Club process and assist with the coordination between sales and custom production.
• Monitor the daily workflow and processes related to Custom Club orders.
• Moderate understanding of all Callaway Golf products, custom club specs and after market shaft / grips.
• Product Availability – must have a moderate understanding of current and past product offerings and be able to provide accurate information on stock status or estimated delivery to Sales Reps, Customers or buyers when necessary
• Support reconciliation and investigation of order/process/reports/system discrepancies to appropriate parties. Ensure that investigations are thorough and complete within required timeframe.
• Monitor new programs, product launches, component offerings and pricing, ensuring sales order tools are updated and accurate.
• Have knowledge of sales programs and be able to enforce guidelines or seek approval from appropriate authority on special requests
• Maintain documentation and assist with coordination, training and implementation of consistent processes supporting Custom clubs
• Provide high level of service and accuracy in order entry and fulfillment support, often to Executives or VIP requests.
Support continuous improvement throughout Sales Operations Department
• Understanding of all Sales Processes and support the Sales Operations Team in defining and improving processes to drive efficiency and improved Customer Service.
• Be able to work with Business Object and advanced Excel spreadsheets in order to read and interpret data to be able react and recommend changes.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze detail and perform structured decision-making on a daily basis.
• High degree on initiative and ownership, attention to detail, and the discipline to follow through on assigned tasks.
• Must demonstrate strong technical skills and ability to analyze data to make recommendations.
• Knowledge of SAP preferred
• Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Excel preferred.
• Ability to multi-task to manage daily responsibilities, multiple projects and unplanned issues.
• Must be capable of exercising independent judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
• Ability to understand priority needs of the company and adjust when necessary or when directed.
• Must possess & demonstrate excellent communication skills – both verbally and written – and be able to relate to all level of employees, customers.
• Must be able to think creatively and offer solutions when problems are identified.
• Required to train department on topics identified in field of expertise
• Must have an in depth knowledge of Callaway Golf Products, after market shafts / grips and understanding of Custom Club production.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s Degree Required
• Minimum 2 years Operations / Golf Industry related experience
• Custom Club experience preferred
• Customer Service / Order Management background preferred
• Computer experience required
• SAP, Business Objects, and Business Warehouse experience helpful
• Golf Experience required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT (if applicable)
• Work is performed in a designated professional office workstation and environment.
• Extensive use of office equipment to include computer, calculator, copier, fax, and other business related machines and software.
