POSITION: Customer Acceptance Line (CAL) - Technical Lead, Gerogia
RECRUITMENT SALARY RANGE: $92,000 - $115,000*

Reporting to the Customer Acceptance Line (CAL) and Technical Center Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all vehicles meet our high standards of quality and safety. Your primary goals will be to support Port Processor supplier’s technicians, ensuring they are able to perform their responsibilities correctly the first time and to diagnose and repair vehicles that are impacted with quality issues.

Diagnose and repair issues within expected timelines. Evaluate repairs performed on vehicles affected by quality issues. Sign-off on all vehicles rectified prior to vehicle return to CAL inspection. Conduct training and provide support for technicians to ensure competence, and that repairs are performed correctly the first time. Ensure contracted technician performing repair understands and follows working instructions prior to performing repair activity. Document and summarize issues for reporting to management, port processor partner, and JLRNA stakeholders. Provide regular updates to management team. Ensure process flow of repairs to maximize efficiency and repairs in a timely manner. Provide support and training to port processor supplier to ensure vehicle inspections are performed according to JLR standards. Conduct inspections of vehicles to identify defects, damage, and non-conformance to standards. This includes performing tests and assessments on vehicle systems, components, and overall performance.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience; 5+ years hands-on experience for vehicle diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair Strong attention to detail and observational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Extensive technical knowledge of automotive systems and components. Extensive mechanical and electrical repair experience. Experience in vehicle quality inspection or a similar role. Fluent in Microsoft Office
