Howmet Aerospace, Engines, is currently seeking a Customer Account Manager for our Rolls Royce and ITP accounts, responsible for the casting, coating, machining, and forged ring businesses.
This position can be based out of any US or Europe Engines location.
Primary Responsibilities: This is not intended as a comprehensive list; it is intended to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities. Incumbent(s) may not be required to perform all duties listed, and may be required to perform additional, position-specific tasks.
Serve as a primary working level customer interface for the Rolls-Royce and ITP customer accounts. Develop strong, trusting and collaborative relationships with key customer contacts. Understand the customer’s organization, products and markets including related priorities, issues and opportunities to best position Howmet to serve customer needs. Identify and prioritize customer business growth opportunities, leveraging key Howmet products and technical capabilities. Lead multi-year contract negotiations for assigned customer accounts. Develop and execute customer account plans to drive commercial strategies and monitor overall business health. RFQ coordination with Howmet sites including alignment of Howmet capabilities with specific customer needs. Business review preparation/oversight including financial analysis, internal presentation, quote preparation, submittal and customer follow up. Open items tracking/resolution with Howmet sites to satisfy customer requirements and provide effective dispute mediation. Customer scorecard analysis including quality and delivery performance correlation and communication. Oversee concurrent engineering, joint customer cost reduction activity coordination. Customer contract/terms and conditions maintenance and development including price and portfolio management, alloy elemental management activities, economic indices tracking and other key business items. Strong, collaborative approach supporting the annual Budget/Long Range Plan process with our sites and the customer. Customer meeting coordination and related preparation assistance with Howmet sites. Customer on time pay performance monitoring with assistance provided as required in coordination with Howmet sites and Credit organization.
