Apply now * Required field. Customer Account Representative This Nebraska based telecom company in Lincoln is hiring a customer service representative due to staff relocation. Joining the Customer Service department, you become an integral part of an extremely dedicated and hardworking team performing a variety of customer related duties, handling customer calls about service, new account set up, customer billing, account review and research to make appropriate data changes. Tasks are performed with a sense of focus and urgency, while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy are essential for the department to be successful in meeting deadlines. Your day will consist of handling inbound customer inquiries, setting up new customer accounts, verifying customer information, and offering the best service options available in the service area. Handling the caller efficiently you are capturing pertinent information to ensure billing statements are processed correctly. A positive customer experience outcome is key for customer retention. What You Will Do:Process service orders and handle all tasks related to the setting up of new accounts.Learn and navigate within multiple software platforms and databases.Review, ensure accuracy of customer information related to billing statements. Utilize MS Office Word, Excel, and Access daily to update and maintain confidential information.Execute a series of daily tasks related to billing and disconnect notices, collection calls, various data reports, answering customer inquiries. What You Need: Minimum 3-5 years’ business office work experience.Proven experience performing administrative processing duties. Ability to work in a fast-paced setting.Maintain confidential information.Strong attention to detail to reduce inaccuracies. Possess an affinity for numbers. Strong mathematical skills, ability to retain and recall account codes.Intermediate to Advanced computer proficiency skills MS Office, Word, Excel, and Access.
