Customer Care Associate (Part-Time, 12 Months Contract)

**The Position**
Reporting to the Customer Care Manager, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time Customer Care Associate to come and join our high-performing team!
Your role is to provide a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers. Our customers include internal business colleagues, external customers such as veterinary clinics, retailers, farmers and pet owners across both the Companion and Livestock business.
An important part of this role is to provide first level phone and email support for retail outlets, field teams, pharmacovigilance and quality reporting, marketing assistance, loyalty program enquiries and general administration.
The team supports the goals of sales and marketing and will also be a key head office entry point for field based colleagues requiring support. You will be the key resource within the wider Commercial Excellence team that promotes a culture of customer excellence providing first point of contact with any customer or consumer.
**Tasks & Responsibilities**
+ Act as the first point of contact for sales colleagues and technical service veterinarians requiring ad-hoc head office support.
+ Resource the Customer Care line to ensure the company meets Pharmacovigilance and Quality responsibilities providing industry leading customer support for our veterinary clinics and pet owners. Those with relevant experience may include the following tasks: PV assessing, coding and further PV case management.
+ Provide assistance administering our loyalty program. Update member details, payment preferences, status of membership and general assistance to our loyalty members. Also assist our Field Team in maintaining accurate data in our loyalty program.
+ To report all pharmacovigilance and quality incidents as per policy and procedure
+ In this role you will be the first point of contact for many of our customers both internal and external. You will work closely with the marketing and sales, veterinary medical services teams, veterinary clinics and pet owners.
+ This role is responsible for managing and actioning customer and consumer enquiries through both inbound and outbound phone calls and emails. Processing orders with external vendors and interacting with multiple systems and numerous websites.
**Requirements**
+ Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
+ Strong problem solving, planning and organisational skills required.
+ Ability to communicate confidently with customers via phone and email.
+ Proficient in the English language, both written and verbal.
+ Efficient Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel- spreadsheet applications), internet knowledge.
+ Ability to multi-task, interact and work within a team environment and function independently when required.
+ Knowledge of the animal health industry, Boehringer Ingelheim - Animal Health products, exposure to PV Works software and CRM experience is an advantage.
