How will you make an impact in this role?

In this role, you’ll be assisting customers with account and product inquiries via phone, as well as performing account maintenance on our American Express Business Line of Credit and a variety of Business Blueprint products. This servicing may be across Checking, Payment Accept and Small Business Card products. You will also be trained to deliver extraordinary customer care by responding to questions concerning accounts in a fast paced, structured customer card environment. Call volume can range on average from 80 – 100 calls a day.

Responsibilities:

Pioneering the servicing of our American Express Business Line of Credit and banking products which will lead the way in evolving American Express’ servicing strategy.   Provide extraordinary customer care by responding to questions raised via phone concerning banking / lending / debit accounts in a fast paced, structured customer care environment.  Ability to support multiple servicing across banking checking and lending products.  Consistent utilization of our customer servicing model.   Support Customer First philosophy by ensuring professional handling of customer requests.  Supporting Customers with maintenance, transactions and funds related inquiries.   Respond to Customer Inquiries around rewards and redemption with ability to handle end to end.   Troubleshoot customer problems and determine how to resolve those problems.  Ability to deliver consultative servicing. Integrity: Adhere to all Regulatory and Compliance guidelines related to servicing practices

Minimum Qualifications:

Customer service experience (two years+) with a passion for building customer loyalty through exceptional listening, consultative relationship building, resourcefulness and strong written and verbal communication.  Proven success in a retail banking or banking customer service environment (two years+).  Knowledge of checking account products. Proven ability to service multiple banking / lending products simultaneously. Ability to work in a fast-paced metric driven environment with proficient multitasking and navigation in a web-based environment.  Ability to navigation multiple servicing platforms. Proven ability to manage change and continuous learning.   Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

Business Banking experience

 The hours of operation will fall within a 24/7 environment. Shifts will be assigned post hiring during training period.
